Christos Kazolis was born and lives on the island of Lemnos with his family, where he works as a photographer and publisher. His deep love for his homeland and his desire to promote it, in conjunction with his passion for photography, have been key determinants in making him a successful and awarded photographer, while his work has been showcased internationally both in print media and on television.

His photographic material is also displayed in three luxurious coffee table books: Lemnos, Scenes and Nature (1998), Deeds of Men (2006), and Lemnos, View to the North Aegean (2009), all published by Terra Lemnia, his publishing house. His primary objective is to present the exquisite natural wealth and great –from ancient times– civilisation of Lemnos, which was deservedly constantly praised by poet Homer, calling it “the most beloved of all lands”.
